GREELEY, Colo.- The preseason rankings continue to roll in for Rico Montoya, as he is ranked 14th in the 133 lb weight class by Flowrestling.com. The senior from Las Vegas, New Mexico has qualified for the NCAA Championships the past two seasons and looks to make it three in a row during his final stint at UNC.
GREELEY, Colo. – A day after just falling to Wyoming, UNC swimming and diving responded with a strong performance against Colorado School of Mines, winning 166-88. UNC took first place in but three of the 16 events in the dominant win.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Northern Colorado women's golf closed out the Ptarmigan Ram Classic on Wednesday, improving their team score the third straight day to finish in 12th with a 914 overall. The Bears moved up a spot on the leaderboard passing Wyoming with their performance on Wednesday.
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – UNC women's golf returned to the course Tuesday for the Ptarmigan Ram Classic, improving by five strokes as a team by shooting a 304. Marisa Hisaki led the team on the day, with 1-over, 73.

GREELEY, Colo.- Northern Colorado Athletics announced the hiring of Ben Garcia as head softball coach. Garcia arrives at UNC after coaching the past four season at Colorado Mesa University, where he has led the Mavericks to three straight Division II NCAA Tournament appearances.
